This is an “over the tailpiece” chinrest that many violinists are

BERBER CHINREST
This again, is an “over the tailpiece” chinrest. However, while the Flesch chinrest is centered right over the middle of the tailpiece, this one is centered over the middle, more “cupped” and extends more to the left of the tailpiece. If you play “over the tailpiece” but a little more to the left, this may be for you. |

BON MUSICA SHOULDER REST
This shoulder rest is different in that it actually “curves” onto the shoulder. This means that it is not dependent on the chin pressing down on the violin to hold it in position. If most shoulder rests do not work too well, this maybe an option. Seems to work with people that have longer necks. The curving is adjustable. Have sold many of these with very good results. |

STOWEMASTER SHOULDER REST
This is a shoulder rest that attaches under the chin rest. It therefore does not affect the sound of the violin. It is adjustable to different positions to make it fit comfortably. I have personally used and tried many different shoulder rests, but find this the most comfortable and best. Yes, it is pricey, but when you consider that you buy only once, have a shoulder rest that really works, it is worth the price. Quality built in the UK. |
