ALEX M. LEIPER
Professional quality hand made by an American maker. In almost mint condition. Top has very close grain, one piece maple back. Very nice work, purfling, scroll. Professional setup with quality bridge, strings, soundpost – ready to play. Daughter now selling after many years in the family. Has nice, smooth intense sound that can only improve with playing as this violin had not been played for many years.

SIMONAZZI AMEDEO Anno 1946
Rated as a very good professional maker. Was pupil of Stefano Scrarampalla in Montove. Violin is golden/brown in color. Varnish shows some wear, crackling on front table. It appears there could have been some touch up on back. Highly flamed back, sides and scroll. Appears joint at top of back has been reglued. No cracks and violin in very good overall condition. Very nice scroll, excellent workmanship.
